Sectoral heterochromia

Say what? As long as I can remember my dad has told me that I have mud in my eye. What did he mean by that? I have a triangular section in my left eye that is brown, while the rest of my eye is grey. Strange huh? I know.

Well, while playing on the Wiki (that's my new hip name for it, spread it), I discovered that it actually has a name. Sectoral heterochromia. Amazing. There are apparently several "famous" people with some sort of heterochromia. I guess that this just adds to my eccentric isms or something.

The really strange thing is that I am in the only one with it in my family. My mother has just solid grey eyes, so I know that I got those from her, but where did the brown come from? Mystery.
